This was such a great little spot. Tracy was awesome! I love the mix of French and Latin cuisine. I've got a couple of picky eaters with me, but they took the chance to make my happy. All of the food was delicious!

Beautiful place for a delicious dinner on the patio. The servers were very helpful and friendly. The food was very tasty. Start your meal with the French onion soup (you can’t go wrong with the rest of the menu). Bon appetit & que rico!

First trip to Black Mountain. First time trying La Guinguette. I looked up different restaurants in the area online and I love crepes. The menu sounded great. I tried the blueberry and strawberry crepes with chocolate sauce and they were amazing!! The staff were all very nice and helpful. Loved the atmosphere. Loved the outdoor area. Very cute, cozy, nice, and relaxing place. I definitely can't wait to come back and try more crepes and other menu items as well

Fantastic reviews led me here and I'm glad. The French Onion soup was amazing. Then I had a chicken tamale and a pork tamale with a fresh greens salad served with mandarin orange vinaigrette. Very very good!

This is a small restaurant with wonderful food - French and Latin. The two of us had lunch there. With soup, entree, dessert, tax, and tip, our bill was 99 (no alcohol). Pricey, but gourmet food. No goopy sauces. The French Onion soup (11) was exceptional. Service was friendly and great. This is in a touristy, mountain t6own, so expect the setting to be a bit rustic.

I had an amazing experience at this cafe. I had tapenade (crostatas and something like crunchy crepes), chicken and mushroom tamales, raspberry jam flavored and lemon sugar flavored crepes with yummy whipped cream! The iced tea was great too! I find this place a great splurge place but can be affordable if you order less. Wonderful restaurant! Will remember this visit fondly for many years to come eating delicious food with my family!

The french onion soup is perfection. Don't skip an appetizer board. The tamales and empanadas are delicious, as are the fillings for the crepes. I'm not a fan of the buckwheat flour used to make the crepes, but it doesn't stop me from returning every time I'm in the area. The atmosphere is perfect for a solo dinner, bringing my daughter and her roommate on family weekend, or a cozy date night. The playlist and volume are so thoughtful and the staff are kind and attentive.

A delightful cottage style hidden gem with phenomenal food! We had tamales, crepes, and the cheese plate! Everything including the service and atmosphere was wonderful. Best way to spend my birthday. A big thank you for having the raspberry jam crepe on your menu - my mother made that for me as a child and it’s always a memorable treat when I can have it again.
